Welcome to my website!
A common theme embodied in my images is simplicity. I find beauty in the real, the natural and the uncluttered—whether it is a tree, a cityscape or an animal. I am drawn to clean lines, shapes and forms.
Occasionally, I have an opportunity to participate in an inspiring project such as photographing the 42 miles of the Santa Fe River to document the impact of drought and human neglect on the river and its watershed. The Santa Fe Watershed Project took me back to my photojournalism roots of the 1980 Reagan-Bush campaign where I photographed dignitaries visiting Illinois for publication in an Illinois newsletter.
I hope you enjoy my images. In the words of the photographer Ansel Adams: “There are always two people in every photograph: the photographer and the viewer.”
